LaTresa CD — 8-panel poster insert, traycard and label

The design of LaTresa's CD is unusual in several ways. First, LaTresa wanted an 8-panel poster-fold insert, instead of the standard book or accordion fold. Second, the design uses a spot color ink and grayscale pictures for the outside portion, and 4-color process for the inside poster with the lyrics.

Click for larger view. This picture began as a slide—but the fading and background color beneath the lyrics had to be created in Photoshop. We like the way the lyrics wrap around LaTresa's boot.

This 2-color CD began with the same picture, but was colorized to a bright pink to complement the background of the poster.
